I currently have the dev board PCA10100 and the power profile kit PCA63511. I didn't find any documentation or information about how

RE: PCA10100 Power Profiler

Hi

That should be correct. You don't have a jumper cable on the P22 header while the PPK is connected, right? Does the PPK work on other DKs than the PCA10100? Please make sure the following switches are in these positions:

nRF52833 DK:

nRF-power source (SW9) set to VDD

VEXT->nRF (SW10) set to OFF

SW6 set to DEFAULT

PPK:

DUT select (SW2) set to DK

Power select (SW4) set to DK (Reg. should be fine as well).

COM (SW3) set to DK

Have you gotten the message "The PPK needs to be programmed" when connecting to nRFConnect with the PPK mounted on the DK? Make sure to press Yes here to ensure that the PPK gets the correct firmware flashed to it. LED2 on the PPK should be lit when powering the board on if this is done correctly

Best regards,

The documentation for the PPK has not yet been updated to reflect support on the latest additions to the nRF5 DK family, but as you can see in the Power Profiler Kit site on the Infocenter, it states that the PPK measures power consumption for a connected nRF5 Development Kit or any external board. So even though the documentation doesn't state this, the nRF52833 is compatible with the PPK as well. I tested it here on my end just now and can confirm that the measurements look good.

Best regards,
