The problem that I was facing is because I did not set-up the HW correctly. I needed to connect "JLINK" to the board (which was not clear for me in the documentation of how to set-up). The rest was ok as presented in the "template" version of the BT tester.

At the moment there is no official Nordic support for nRF52 in Zephyr. Note that this does not necessarily mean that applications does not work on the nRF52, just that we have not done much testing and therefore does not guarantee that it works.
