&lt;p&gt;In LTE Link Monitor we use locationapi.org service to display a map showing the location of the device.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fug_link_monitor%2FUG%2Flink_monitor%2Flm_locationapi.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"&gt;This is documented here.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It uses different information which it gathers from the modem.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;e.g. MCC, MNC, CelliD etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would recommend checking out that service or something similar for the application you are describing.&lt;/p&gt;
