I tried using adruino and was able to successfully execute it. but when i tried with nrf it is not recognizing the input. &lt;p&gt;Then I would strongly suggest that you spend some time to get familiar with &amp;#39;C&amp;#39; on a PC - &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;before&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt; you add all the complications of embedded microcontrollers &amp;amp; the Nordic SDK, etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is really nothing special about &amp;quot;embedded&amp;quot; &amp;#39;C&amp;#39;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here are some &amp;#39;C&amp;#39; learning &amp;amp; reference materials:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The single &amp;amp; double quotes have quite different meanings in &amp;#39;C&amp;#39; !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;See your &amp;#39;C&amp;#39; textbook.&lt;/p&gt;
