I am new to embedded programming and I noticed that nrf51822 is a good and complete choice to start with both wireless and 32 bit arm programming.
However, I am not sure if nrf51822 wireless hardware is open to implement 6lowpan or Nordic has already

RE: Is it possible to implement 6LOWPAN in nrf51822

Doesn't look like it. The nRF51822 uses Frequency Shift Keying as its modulation method. IEEE802.15.4 use a different radio architecture than the nRF51822, and therefore it is not possible to be part of such networks with it.

There have however been other projects aiming to solve the problem of transmitting IPv6 over Bluetooth low energy, and although I don't have any experience with any of them, it might be worth having a look at.
