I could not find any documentation for this name?
And also had a question about the dev kit.
I have NRF52 dev board and want to develop app for NRF52810. I was told to use PCA10040e examples for this. The 'e' part isn't listed in the development kit list here, although the chip for nRF52 is listed as "nRF52832/nRF52810": https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fug_gsg_ses%2FUG%2Fgsg%2Fchips_and_sds.html

There happen to be S112 examples for ble_app_uart for both the PCA10040 and PCA10040e. Digging into the build options for both, it seems that the 'e' board has the nRF52810 chip instead of the nRF52832. Would be nice if the table linked above splits this information out explicitly rather than having to dig into the projects.

RE: PCA10040 vs PCA10040e

If the project is not present for the nRF52810 (pca10040e), you can create your own emulated projects by following the steps in the User Guide for the nRF52810, under Creating your own emulated project.
