&lt;p&gt;Are you measuring the current consumption on the chip on your DK or on a custom board? Please confirm that you&amp;#39;ve done everything according to the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/PPK_User_Guide_v2.4.pdf"&gt;PPK user guide&lt;/a&gt; during setup (cut the solder bridge on the DK, as this current consumption seems way too high. I just tested this myself and was able to get the current consumption down to 10µA in idle mode with the full beacon application code (some leakage in the PPK and DK must be expected).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you show me a screenshot of your Power profiler app as well, I&amp;#39;d like to see how the graph looks, to make sure that everything seems correct in that regard. You are using the pca10040e example, right?&lt;/p&gt;
