what is the realistic maximum speed achievable over RTT on the 52840dk (using SEGGER_RTT_printf) to RTT Logger?
I have tried modifying frequency and NRF_LOG_BACKEND_RTT_TEMP_BUFFER_SIZE but is getting no where near the specified value.

I do not think we have any performance measurements for the Segger RTT functions, these are delivered by Segger and not developed by Nordic. We do have some performance numbers for RTT logging through RTT with NRF_LOG module which could be relevant. You can see that the number of arguments highly affects the performance of in-place RTT processing.

Are you passing many arguments to the SEGGER_RTT_printf() function? Have you tested with a static buffer and calling SEGGER_RTT_Write instead to see if this affects performance?

Best regards,
Jørgen
