I'm trying to use the aws_fota example with nrf9160 and AWS and it works fine. The problem is that in my country we don't have LTE-M, so we decided to use a 2g/3g gateway. We defined the Particle Boron as the hardware platform.

Sorry, I closed accidentally the incident. We don't want to break the license agreement. What we want is just to use the Boron board because it is based on nrf52840 and is supported by zephyr as well. All that we want is to connect, using 2g or 3g to the AWS IoT platform using MQTT as established per AWS. Is it possible?.

Thanks

RE: Using Particle Boron as a Gateway for a mesh network

Hi Kenneth,

This seems to be in violation with the license for the nRF SDK:
https://github.com/NordicPlayground/fw-nrfconnect-nrf/blob/master/LICENSE

"This software, with or without modification, must only be used with a Nordic Semiconductor ASA integrated circuit."

Or have I misunderstood?

In any case I think we will only be supporting the nRF9160.

Best regards,
Kenneth
