it is purely depended on your application.

You should need to know what the meaning of gap event length is.

and then you can adjust the connection interval and gat event length .

if you need to have a longer range and higher throughout, you should use shorter connection interval because more often retry / retransmission.

is (GAP EVENT LENGTH) * 1.25 the time when radio can be used? Yes,

You can configure on both side to use same value.

In other words, is (GAP EVENT LENGTH) * 1.25 the time when radio can be used?

Is this a same setting for Central and Peripheral? Or can it be set independently?
Can I always receive if I set it to 100%?
