My scan environment is,
[Our device -- same UUID]

The number of our beacons is 100.
Each of beacons has an interval of 1000 ms (1 second)

If the point is to scan as many advertising packets as possible then there is no problem to set the scan window to 100%. The only problem with having the scanning window set to 100% is that you will not be able to perform other roles, you can only scan the whole time.

If scan window increase to 100%, is there no problem?

I heard that it was best to set the scan interval and scan window to 50%. Why didn't set it to 50% and load or problems when I set it to 100%?

RE: How to improve beacon scan efficiency

Hi,

1. There is no option to filter by Manufacturer UUID when using nrf_ble_scan_filter_set(). I don't see this would have had any improvement in speed anyways as the event will still occur, and filtering is done inside the application.

2. Increasing the scan window to 100% (scan window == scan interval) will help. The more beacons you have, the longer you have to scan to capture all of them.

Best regards,
