I think you need to determine if the problem is with the phone or your device. If you can get 10 commercial beacons or nRF devkits and load the same code and the phone still cannot detect all 10 devices, then it is probably a phone problem. If it is always the same beacons that can't be detected, you can try setting the address of the bad beacon to the address of a good beacon in case the phone filters out addresses for some reason. From the TI logs you posted there were 1052 CRC error packets out of 6051 so it may be your beacon problem. I don't know if using a crystal for LFCLK will make a difference since you are not making a connection.

I added samsung M20 nrf connect app screen shot as below

I have another Old mobile phone Samsung Galaxy On7 pro it is reading our beacons in nrf connect app, but Samsung M20 is not reading only some beacons. i think the issue is with samsung m20 in reading ble beacons.

Okay. I asked because the font on the Samsung app looked a bit off, so I was wondering if you were using an older version or something. Can you send a screenshot of the Device information and "about app" screen on nRFConnect (Samsung).

my nrf connect app updated version is 4.24.1. other Bluetooth device like headset and speakers are shown and connected to my Samsung mobile phone our custom beacon beard have only this problem in Samsung mobiles it doesn't appear internal Bluetooth core location

Your source main.c looks the same as mine. Are you sure the phone is not connected to another BT device like a Tile or headset while you are performing the test? I installed the Tile app and connected a Tile device and it seems to interfere with my app operation when transferring data during a connection but no problems during scanning from nRF Connect. You can perform a factory reset on M20 and see if it fixes the problem.

I'm using SDK15.2 for nrf53832 ble_app_beacon example i just enable internal RC only because our manufacturing board only working with in internal RC.I doesn't change anything change anything in my example code i have to scan 2 different mobile samsung M20 and Redmi note 7pro see as below

This problem occurred all sdk(12.3, 15.0,15.2 and 15.3 also) example codes

I am using SDK 15.3 and ble_app_beacon example. Muthu, you said you did not change anything to the ble_app_beacon example except the clock source but in your capture the advertisement type is ADV_IND and the ble_app_beacon example uses ADV_NONCONN_IND. Can you post your source code?

Just for confirmation: What SDK are you using the ble_app_beacon example from Muthu? Are you using the ble_app_beacon example as well Jefferson, and if so, what SDK are you using?

Muthu, I suggest you try contacting the Samsung team, here's a link to their general support center, where you can choose your region and get assistance. I won't be able to help you any further if you can't send me a sniffer trace showing any information about what is happening on the Samsung side of things. Please try making a sniffer trace with scan response enabled so we might see any information from the phone side of things.

I bought the M20 to test this problem because my application also has a beacon function. I don't have any problems detecting the device from nRF Connect. I am using nRF52832 SD 6.1.1 and external crystal.

Sorry I didn't explain better. In order to see any data from the scanner, you need an application with scan response enabled, I.E. the ble_app_blinky example to see if you're able to get any scan responses from the Samsung device.

I also think it would be wise to contact the Samsung team, as they might be aware of this seeing as it's a problem in specifically Samsung phones, and they might be able to help you, as I'm not sure this is an issue that is easy to resolve just like that.

Thank you for responding quickly, we're in the process of looking at your sniffer trace and would like a sniffer trace of the phone side (scanner) as well if possible. We have a suspicion that the issue is in the Samsung stack, so we would like to examine that side of things as well.

Are you able to open these files yourself? The TI smartRF sniffer only returns a violation error when I try opening this file and Wireshark says that the file contains 0 packets, so I'm not able to retrieve any information I'm afraid.
