The information is in the modem yes, and as mentioned by Håkon in your other post there is an on-going feature request to get more of this information from the modem to the application.

Hi Sigurd,

thank you. That means somewhere in the FW there is the information available when PSM is active. Is there a way to make this information available for the application instead of using AT commands which from my point of view will not be very accurate in terms of timing.

Hi,

From the place in the code where this is printed we have the following comment:

				/* If LTE is used alongside GPS, PSM, eDRX or
				 * DRX needs to be enabled for the GPS to
				 * operate. If PSM is used, the GPS will
				 * normally operate when active time expires.
				 */

I.e. it needs to wait for a eDRX/DRX or PSM window to get the GPS data.
