NB NB: Accidentally shorting pins 2 and 3 (where pin closest to USB connector is pin 3) -> dead DK! So be careful, remove USB power before connecting your measurement probes.

Some questions/remarks:

Can you find the board in Device Manager?
Is LED5 blinking?
Could you test with another USB cable or a different USB port?
Please ensure SW5 is set to nRF9160

I haven't done any current measurements, and I have those old nRF9160 kit with 3 pins on P24, which pins should i attach the jumper to, I don't think their was a jumper before

Have you done any current measurements recently? If that is the case, make sure to attach a jumper on connector P24.

Try installing the latest nRF Command Line tools.
