To add a bit to this, the peripheral in the S130 has more packet buffers and therefore more throughput than the centrals. &lt;p&gt;here&amp;#39;s what you can do with the S130 0.9 alpha:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You can connect to 3 peripherals (your device will be the master)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You can connect to 1 central (your device will the the slave)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You can send advertisements at all times and you can scan at all times (no scanning in the short time while you try to set up a connection with another peripheral). However you can only send connectable advertisements while you are not connected to a central. As soon as you are connected to a central, you must send non-connectable advertisements.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Data transfer to all connected devices is possible in both directions. It does not matter if you want to send data to a central or a peripheral.
