With that hex file I get a LTE connection but after a few moment the connection break up and show me this error: Socket error: POLLHUP

According to 1NCE LTE-M is planned in 2020. You should use NB-IoT

You can also download the precompiled nRF9160 SiP application firmware from nRF9160 DK download page, and load nrf9160dk_asset_tracker_nbiot_2019-11-29_d3130d77.hex

NCS = nRF Connect SDK - part of the nRF Connect Ecosystem.

This is what you use to develop your own applications.

From the log file you provided, I see now that your signal quality is very low in both asset tracker and at client.

%CESQ: 32,1,18,2

Please ensure that you have good coverage where you are

So it should be LTE-M if I'm not mistaken?

If you mean with NCS = nRF Connect then v3.3.0.

Can you provide some more information? I.e. are you connecting to NB-IoT or LTE-M? What version of NCS are you using?
