I would like to append data to a coap response like this:

I have a response handler that is triggered as the device receive the response. I am able to get the data appended to the message only if it is 0x00 otherwise the handler is not

RE: OpenThread response handler coap

Hi,

It is a multi cast. The client expects a response from multiple servers or zero. (without knowing how many servers are around).

I tried a different way to approach the problem and found a solution using a timer. The client sends multiple times the message and as the timer triggers it collects all information received from the servers.

RE: OpenThread response handler coap

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by the second question. Can you explain a bit more in detail about what you are doing and what you want to achieve? Code samples would be useful to understand your use-case.

Are you using unicast or multicast for the requests?

Adding 0xFF in front of the payload did the trick. Still waiting for suggestion for the second question
