I am trying to get started with the Thingy52 development, but I'm having a hard time getting started since I am not making a mobile app. I have it connected to my iphone without issue, and I can also connect it to the developer.nordicsemi

RE: Streaming thingy52 motion data to linux box

Hi,

I understand. Have you checked out these examples? They contain the process for setting up a central BLE node on a computer(using built-in bluetooth device). The raspberry pi example is probably of particular interest for your application. This direct approach will have the lowest latency.
If you want, you could also stream the data to a database or web server - this example demonstrates how to stream the data to a Google Firebase server.

Is this what you were looking for?

Best regards,
Karl
