&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, SES nordic edition v4.42 has issues related to programming and debugging (more details explained here: &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/58118/segger-4-4a-has-a-link-error-building-a-sample-project"&gt;https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/58118/segger-4-4a-has-a-link-error-building-a-sample-project&lt;/a&gt;). &lt;p&gt;There is no known workaround at this point, other to revert to v4.30c, unfortunately.&lt;/p&gt;
