Are you sure that your using s140_nrf52_6.1.0 ?

If you connect a debugger, and use the nRF Connect for Desktop Programmer app, you can read the SoftDevice version that is flashed to the chip.

Hi Sigurd,

the following command was used to generate the pkg

nrfutil pkg generate --hw-version 52 --application-version 1 --application hrs_application_s140.hex --sd-req 0xAE --key-file private.key app_dfu_package.zip

FYI, i am using a 3rd party nrf52840 board for all the testing. details as follows.

Hi,

What command did you use to generate the DFU package ? From the error-code it looks like you forgot to use --sd-req , or that you provided the wrong --sd-req value.

By default, SDK 15.2 uses s140_nrf52_6.1.0, so try using --sd-req 0xAE when generating the package with nrfutil pkg generate
