Disabling the NRF_FPRINTF_FLAG_AUTOMATIC_CR_ON_LF_ENABLED helped. I can now see the data on the Debug Terminal in SES.

You may try to disable the NRF_FPRINTF_FLAG_AUTOMATIC_CR_ON_LF_ENABLED option in sdk_config if you have not done it already. I did a quick test here with a 64B buffer but did not manage to replicate the issue.

That would be nRF5_SDK_16.0.0_98a08e2.

Thank you for the update. Could you let me know what SDK version you use? I don't think I have seen this exact issue before.

Hi Vidar,

I figured it out. SES isn't showing the data on its termial while J-Link RTT Viewer is displaying all the datacorrectly.

Weird flex but okay. 😛

Thanks for responding.

I did set the level to "Debug". However, I still can't see any data on terminal.

I suspect the data is being freed before the logger can display it. Can you please tell me how I can fix that?

Hi,

Debug level logs will not be displayed if the log level is set to "info". Try to change the NRF_LOG_DEFAULT_LEVEL to "Debug"
