Hi Balaji,

You will have BLE_GATTS_EVT_WRITE event from the stack that you can catch in the on_ble_evt() function in main.c. You can refer to ble_bas.c to know how to handle the event.

For a better devzone knownlead base, I would suggest you to accept an answer if it fixes the issue at the first message and then create a new question if you have other questions. This way it's much easier for other customer to find the issue and the solution cope with that.

Thanks for your reply, now i can successfully update the firmware over the air. Now i need some information regarding ble stack event, which event updates the device name when we update it from the master control panel? whether the changed device name passed over air or it is changed in master control panel itself?

Hi Balaji,

Have you tried to reinstall Master Control Panel ? If you already did, could you try to create the C:\Program Files (x86)\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Emulator folder and put the 2.1.6.8098 inside ?

Master control Panel is installed in the following path in my machine, C:\Program Files\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Emulator\2.1.6.8098

Is this fine ?

Have you installed the latest version of Master Control Panel ? www.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF51822-Development-Kit If should be installed here C:\Program Files (x86)\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Emulator. You should also not run Master Control Panel when you start the bootloader software.

Thanks for your reply, i just did as you said, but now the error i am facing is

cannot load MasterEmlator.dll

what i need to do now?

Hi Balaji,

You need to run the main.py that included in "C:\Keil\ARM\Device\Nordic\nrf51822\Board\nrf6310\device_firmware_updates\experimental" not the one in C:\Program Files\IronPython 2.7\Lib\lib2to3\

You may need to install intelhex v1.5 plugin to make it work.
