A whitelist is set with the API call sd_ble_gap_whitelist_set which is handled by the peer_manager when storing/creating the whitelist.

Of course, it is possible. Does Nordic provide API for that purpose?

You can, for example, use a whitelist that holds the UUIDs you want to scan in order to filter these beacons. You should also be able to add scan filters to single UUIDs.
