There is a good module available here https://www.crowdsupply.com/i-syst/blyst840. Fully compatible with all SDK. It even have the smaller form factor USB Dongle with Type-C fully compatible with nRFConnect.

Hi Nick,

As long as the onboard SoC is the same as the one you are developing firmware for, there will be no compatibility issues.
For safe measure I will also mention that the different third-party modules have different hardware configurations(footprints, pinouts, optional circuitry, etc.), which you still will need to keep in mind when switching between modules.
