Hi,

I follow the steps under 1.1 Set it up in the NCS tutorial and refer to 2.2.2 Modify device tree and configurations of a child image in this tutorial and your produce to create this devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../hello_5F00_world_5F00_test.zip to test. I did not see any issue. If you still have the issue, I would suggest you do update the ncs and try again.

cd ncs/nrf
git checkout master
git pull
git checkout v1.2.0
west update

I still get the error when the build directory is removed. This is easy to re-create. Use any sample, including hello_world.

Hi,

Everything you do looks correct. The only thing is that if the build-folder already exists, only changes since last time will get built to speed up the process. That can sometimes lead to or hide errors.

You should remove the build folder and build it again.
