Hi,

We didn't include SES projects examples in our SDK before SDK 14.1. You can take a look at the SES tutorial on Devzone for how to setup a project in SES. There is also a video tutorial series here.

For the nRF51 series there is a SDK and SoftDevices compability matrix here: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/comp_matrix_nrf51/COMP/nrf51/nRF51422_nRF51822_ic_rev_sdk_sd_comp_matrix.html

When downloading any SDK you will also see the compatible SoftDevices for each nRF5 SDK version in the "Compatible downloads" tab.

... Also, I see that this version doesn't have any ses projects setup for the pca10028 (same chipset as pca10031) so can you link me to an article of how someone might convert any of the existing example files into a ses project ? Thanks again.

Hi Marjeris Romero that's perfect, thanks for the help. How would one determine the correct SDK version appropriate for either the board number or the SoftDevice version number? The Links from the SoftDevice version page are not specific to an SDK release incremental ?

Hi Tim,

The latest SDK supporting Softdevice S130 (and thus the nRF51 dongle) is nRF5 SDK v12.3.
