 To Nordic Dev kit, a sensor is interfaced via SPI lines. Using SPI in blocking mode (Polling). 
 After initializing SPI communication, 2 bytes are written to the sensor. Then next step is to get an logic analyzer so you can look at the digital lines.&lt;/p&gt;

Does the same occur if you remove the sensor from the 4 SPI pins in question?&lt;/p&gt;
