 We are trying to develop custom uart bootloader firmware without using MBR. also we are not using softdevice. 
 Here are some linker definitions which are implementation.

&lt;p&gt;You showed us MBR is part of softdevice. s140 which will required in our project. &lt;p&gt;We strongly recommend using MBR here for simplicity&amp;#39;s sake. Can you explain the reason you don&amp;#39;t want to use it?&amp;nbsp;You&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;will need something similar in order to move around on the application after it is transferred anyway, so I don&amp;#39;t see why you wouldn&amp;#39;t want to use it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
