Routing the GPIO is pretty tight and I'm wondering whether it's safe to route a GPIO line across the unused DCC pin (A5). I'm only using the LDO and not the DC/DC converter so the DCC pin is

RE: Routing GPIO over unused DCC pin?

Thank you for tracking this down for me! I really appreciate it! This helped a lot with routing my design. I read this as soon as you posted it but I'm just now getting around to responding.

RE: Routing GPIO over unused DCC pin?

This should be fine. There is a switch that disconnects DCC and puts it in High Impedance state when DCDC is disabled. Not sure if you intended to connect the pin, but if you do, this will have some capacitance, somewhere around ~10pF.

RE: Routing GPIO over unused DCC pin?

Thanks for your response. Based on this, I'll route it that way for now and look for confirmation before finalizing the design.

RE: Routing GPIO over unused DCC pin?

Hi,

I am sorry this is taking a while. As far as I know routing a GPIO across the unused DCDC pin should be fine. Unfortunately I am waiting for confirmation to be sure.
