I am using nRF52832 along with Softdevice 6.0.0, SDK 15.0.0, Chip Revision 2 (QFAA-EX0).
I need clarification if softdevice uses RTC and if so is the Errata 20 applicable to it?
I understand from errata that read from RTC will not contain the

RE: Does Softdevice use RTC?

Thanks Kenneth.

RE: Does Softdevice use RTC?

Hi,

The softdevice is using RTC0, and this errata is fully handled by the softdevice and not something the application need to consider for RTC0. You can safely presume that all peripherals used by the softdevice will apply or use workarounds described in the erratas, unless the errata mention otherwise.

The actual peripherals used by the softdevice can be found in the softdevice documentation, for instance see for S112 softdevice:
https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sds_s112/SDS/s1xx/sd_resource_reqs/hw_block_interrupt_vector.html

Here is an example of a workaround for the RADIO that require a new softdevice to be used:
https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/errata_nRF52832_Rev1/ERR/nRF52832/Rev1/latest/anomaly_832_102.html

Best regards,
Kenneth
