Can you provide a screenshot of the linker settings? I don't have values labelled as these so it's incredible unclear for any newcomer to SES.

I'm finally able to blink the LED of the costume board( nRF52811),but then i tried to run ble_app_beacon example. it flashed okay, but there is no a transmitted signal, and i believe that because I didn't assign the correct pins of RX and TX, and i don't the correct one. so can you please help me assign the correct pins to make the ble_app_beacon example works. I have already uploaded the schematic.

The photo was mainly to show you how to enter the options screen, the only things that should be edited in the Section Placement Macros are "in the linker script settings, adjust the linker script to match the maximum RAM and Flash size of nRF52811 (ROM END: 0x2FFFF and RAM END: 0x20005FFF."

The other changes I mention are made in Preprocessor -> Preprocessor Definitions and User Include Directories.

I'm sorry but it's still not clear to me what to change exactly on Common -> Linker-> Section Placement Macros. can you please be more clear with each step on how to do it on Segger Embedded because I really cannot find these instruction on Segger Embedded.

In the project settings, change to device "NordicSemiconductor->nRF52811_xxaa".
In the C/C++ preprocessor settings, remove the defines "NRF52" and "NRF52840_XXAA".
Add the preprocessor define "NRF52811_XXAA".
In the linker script settings, adjust the linker script to match the maximum RAM and Flash size of nRF52811 (ROM END: 0x2FFFF and RAM END: 0x20005FFF.
Remove the following files from the project: <compiler>_startup_nrf52.s and system_nrf52.c.
Add the following files to the project: <compiler>_startup_nrf52811.s and system_nrf52811.c

Right-click the project and go to options in order to open the project settings window where you can set these preprocessor settings.

Remember to set the configurations to Common.

I already saw those instructions, but i don't see them on Segger Embedded(IDE). For example, my device already been set to NRF52811_XXAA as you can see from the picture, and also i don't see c/c++ preprocesser

To transfer a project to custom hardware, please follow these steps:

Open the example project for your IDE.
In the project settings, change to device "NordicSemiconductor->nRF52811_xxaa".
In the C/C++ preprocessor settings, remove the defines "NRF52" and "NRF52840_XXAA".
Add the preprocessor define "NRF52811_XXAA".
In the linker script settings, adjust the linker script to match the maximum RAM and Flash size of nRF52811 (ROM END: 0x2FFFF and RAM END: 0x20005FFF.
Remove the following files from the project: <compiler>_startup_nrf52.s and system_nrf52.c.
Add the following files to the project: <compiler>_startup_nrf52811.s and system_nrf52811.c.
Finally, edit the necessary changes in the project itself to use the pins you are using in your HW, etc.

Have you made the necessary changes to your project in order to transfer a PCA10056 project to nRF52811 hardware? Also, have you checked that the pins are configured correctly in your project to reflect where the LED on your HW is?
