&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m surprised you didn&amp;#39;t get the same result for both methods. It shouldn&amp;#39;t make any difference if you start out in DFU mode or if you use buttonless entry. Do you have debug logging enabled in this bootloader? I think it may be more helpful to see the log from the bootloader side.&lt;/p&gt;
