Just to be clear, is this an nRF52840 DK or the onboard nRF52840 on the nRF91 DK you are talking about?

You can try to re-download the MCU firmware onto the DK, by downloading it from here and dragging the .bin file into the J-Link driver folder.

The board was working yesterday

Is it appearing in Device Manager ?

Has this particular board ever worked before ?

Have checked basics like cables, a different USB port, etc ?
