Thanks, @Einar and @awneil I solved my problem there were some extra comment lines at the end of the sdk_config.h file. I removed those and it worked.

You would use Keil as a separate tool to view & edit the sdk_config.h file.

So what are you actually trying to achieve here?

What Einar is suggesting is a way to find out where the Java utility is getting confused.

If you want to find out where the Java utility is getting confused, then you're going to have to adopt that sort of strategy.

If you don't want to mess about with the Java utility, then just forget about it and either edit the sdk_config.h manually, or use Keil.

I have edited sdk_config.h file many times, what you are suggesting is that I must start from something that works and then update it step by step?

Thanks for your response. I'm just curious that I'm using segger studio for development, is your method is valid in segger studio environment as well?

Hi,

It might be working fine in the project, ut there is a syntax that there that is not relevant for the preprocessor, but only for CMSIS configurator tool. It quickly becomes difficult to parse this manually, so again my suggestion is to start with something small that works, and add on. When it stops working (is no longer parsed correctly), you know you are close to the issue. I do not have any better suggestions for how to solve it.

What do you mean by the sdk_config.h is invalid. I mean I'm using it in my project and it is working fine on it. Can you please elaborate more about invalidity and how to solve it.

Hi,

It seems the sdk_config.h file you are trying to open is invalid, and therefore the CMSIS Configurator tool is unable to parse it. You need to make sure the sdk_config.h file is valid for it to work. You could start with a known good file form an SDK example, and adapt it. If you check regularly, you will see if you make any mistakes.

I also second awneil's suggestion. Keil is a much better editor for sdk_config.h files. Even if you don't use it for anything else, it is worth having for just that task (and in that case, the free version works perfectly since the code size limit only matters when you build the project).
