It looks that, depending the printed binary content, the output in the viewer can be displayed - or not. It seems that the rtt viewer acts on some byte sequences. I attached 2 pictures.

&lt;p&gt;you are right, it is the viewer itself. I set up&amp;nbsp;JLinkExe /&amp;nbsp;JLinkRTTClient (telnet) which&amp;nbsp;works perfectly.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is probably not related to the nRF, but rather Segger&amp;#39;s RTT Viewer?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It may be that for some reason, you are logging with text color (=black)? Is that the case?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In your sdk_config.h file, what is&amp;nbsp;NRF_LOG_USES_COLORS defined as?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you tried using Segger Embedded Studio, and monitor the log there? Does the lines sometime disappear there as well?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
