We have two documents on production testing for our short-range products

https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/struct_appnotes/struct/appnotes_nan34.html?cp=13_3

https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/nwp_028/WP/nwp_028/nwp_028_intro.html?cp=14_5

Generally the most important is to test that the PCBA is properly manufactured, i.e. that soldering is correct and that cables etc. are connected. Characterizing all kinds of RF performance parameters should not be needed, we do extensive testing in our production line, but of course different products/companies have different requirements and confidence in our production test so this is also fine for those who feel the need for it. As described in one of the documents it is possible to use a nRF52 Development Kit as tester, it will allow you to verify that the radio works, but not necessarily tell any details about modulation characteristics, frequency offset etc.

Best regards,

Andreas
