if it shows up as MBED, you downloaded the mbed firmware. (mbed Interface MCU Firmware for nRF51-DK). Jlink is the file above in the download page.

Does in show up as "JLink" in Device Manager?

it crashes and usb shows warning that it was not removed safely after i drag the file.

Try to hold down the reset button while powering up the board. Now in BOOTLOADER mode, drag the J-Link firmware over to the drive.

You can download the firmware from here: www.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF51-DK. It is the "J-Link Interface MCU Firmware for nRF51-DK" download.

yes when i hold the reset button and attach it through usb i can see it as Bootloader
