Yes, it's a superset of the most prominent nRF52® Series features. It also has 2 ARM-M33 processors!

Then it seems like the nrf5340 is pretty much better than the nrf52840 in every way except that it's more expensive?

It's 4x4. The front-page on the OPS is wrong. We will fix that in a new version of OPS.

PS: On the Engineering A version of nRF5340 you only have 3 working instances of the PWM. This will be fixed in the next IC version of the nRF5340 , so that all 4 is working.
