My apologies for the late reply.

I can see that GPS is initialized twice, the first time it gets a POLLHUP, and the second time you closed before data was sent. Can you try leaving it for an hour? Just to have a longer log. You may have to get a modem trace if not able to get GPS data through.

There was a mismatch in the log file attached, sorry for that, Now attaching the log file as mentioned. As we are using nRF9160 DK so loaded the application images_full/nrf9160dk_asset_tracker_ltem_2020-04-29_bc7ade8b.hex.

Please go through the log file and give me an solution that why GPS data is not going to cloud

Please check you SIM card.

Regarding the GPS, it seems that there has been an update that I've missed. You need to long-press button 1 for 10 seconds to enable GPS.

Hi Øyvind,

Updated the DK modem with the latest modem firmware. Also loaded the DK with the images_full/nrf9160dk_asset_tracker_ltem_2020-04-29_bc7ade8b.hex as we are using nRF9160 DK so we loaded the respective application. Attached the log file for this application

After programming latest modem firmware and Prebuilt hex files also am facing the same issue could not send GPS data to cloud.

Can you please try to update the modem FW and the application FW found here. Let me know how that works for you.

Edit: Please try to update the application with e.g. images_full/thingy91_ltem_2020-04-29_bc7ade8b.hex

I would like to know what exactly the fix mean in GPS. If the fix means the location of the DK, then yes

i got the GPS coordinates of my DK please look into the image below

The following is the LTE link monitor log of asset tracker application. In my scenario this application sends the all data to cloud except GPS. Please find the log file below

As requested by you to give the output of the AT+CPSMS? in asset tracking application is

AT+CPSMS?

+CPSMS: 0

I hope all the information is updated as you mentioned. Please go through these and find me a solution out.

Did you get a fix with the GPS sample? Can you provide an output from the GPS sample. Just to make sure, our documentation states "GPS signals do not usually penetrate ceilings or other structures that well. Therefore, for best GPS performance, the DK should be placed on a flat surface in an open space outside, far from sources of interference and other structures that may block the signals from space.

Also, are you able to provide the log output from LTE Link Monitor when running the Asset Tracker?

The GPS receiver in the nRF9160 is time-multiplexed with LTE modem, and it is possible to obtain the GPS position either while the LTE is in RRC Idle mode or power-saving mode (PSM), or when the LTE modem is completely deactivated. There might be an issue with Power Saving Mode (PSM). Please let the Asset Tracker run for a while and then try to issue the following AT command in the LTE Link Monitor Command line:
AT+CPSMS?

Then paste the output of that command here.

Am using ncs version v1.2.0

Tested GPS example in that i can see my coordinates. Looks like having GPS coverage, But why its not sending the coordinates to the nRF cloud in asset tracker application.

Do you have GPS coverage? Are you able to provide any output from the LTE Link Monitor? What version of NCS are you working on? You can test the GPS with our GPS sample.
