Has anyone mimicked the nrf8001 ACI interface over SPI on the nrf51x22 devices using S110 soft device?
I am interested in increasing throughput by using 6 packets per connection interval with an interval of 7.5 ms but would like to retain

RE: nrf51422/ nrf51822 compatibility with nrf8001 ACI Interface

Hi, Kirem!

We have no plans to add ACI protocol support to the SoftDevices.

But we do have plans for something somewhat related. The next version of the SDK will contain support for serialization of the GAP/GATT level API of the SoftDevice. This will not give you code compatibility with the nRF8001, but it will give you the possibility to control the nRF51 from another processor.

With kind regards,
