The MCU <em>is</em> the nRF52840. The Cortex M4 CPU is inside the nRF52840 and is controlling the radio, etc. The part of the DK which is not yellow in your picture is the debugger. If you don&#39;t want to use the onboard debugger, you will have to connect an external debugger to the debug in port.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
