&lt;p&gt;Have you tried &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/10729/my-device-is-freezing-and-restarting"&gt;debugging the application&lt;/a&gt;, to check if there are any error codes reported? You should be able to set breakpoints, but you cannot step the code after softdevice is enabled, as this will cause softdevice asserts. I would recommend to set breakpoint in the error handler, to check if any error codes are reported.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Are you using any of the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sds_s132/SDS/s1xx/sd_resource_reqs/hw_block_interrupt_vector.html"&gt;blocked/restricted peripheral used by the softdevice&lt;/a&gt; in the TWI part of the application?&lt;/p&gt;
