Hi Dragon,

Please see Sniffing a connection between paired devices:
Type the 6-digit passkey that is displayed on either the Central or the Peripheral device into the Passkey / OOB key field in Wireshark.

If you are having issues with this, they could perhaps try to disable security and pairing/bonding while sniffing and debugging this.

Hi Amanda,

We tried to use the kit PCA10040 as the sniffer. We don't know how to get the log when the devices were connected. It seems need the passkey / odd keys. But we have not idea to show the current passkey/odd keys even on proximity device or android app.

Thanks for your reply!

1) For the nrf52832. We are using the example from nRF5_sdk_16.0.0_98a08e2 , the Softdevice should be s132_nrf52_7.0.1.

2) The Phone is sony xperia xz premium (sony GB142) and android 9 .

3 and 4 we will try later.

5.) the Log show reason is 8.

Hi,

What Softdevice version are you using?
What phone are you using and what OS does it run?
Can you provide some sniffer traces? You can use a development kit and our sniffer solution if you don't have professional equipment.
Could you provide the logs on both sides?

What is the disconnected reason in the debug log? You could add the code in the case BSP_EVENT_DISCONNECT.
