For BLE softdevice, I am wondering if it is possible to set connection supervision timeout to infinitive, which means the connection will never be considered lost?
I know that in core spec the maximum value for it is 32s, but I had the impression

RE: Infinitive supervision timeout?

thank you Vidar Berg for the confirmation.

I don't recall seeing any discussions about this, unfortunately. Infinite timeout is not allowed by the specification, as you say. It would make it impossible to know if a link may have been lost . Also, it would cause the master and slave to get out of sync with each other after a while, thus making it difficult to start up communication again.
