&lt;p&gt;If the ble_app_blinky_pca10056_s140 works with the s132 softdevice, you are not using the combination of project and softdevice that you think you are using.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you show me some screenshots of how you program the bootloader and what your IAR setup looks like? Are you sure you set the ble_app_blinky_pca10056_s140 as the active project before you flash it?&lt;/p&gt;
