You should not get this error from an unmodified SDK. Did you possibly change the thumbs_crt0.s file according to <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/nordic-blog/b/blog/posts/segger-embedded-studio-a-cross-platform-ide">this blog-post</a>?
