I have a fresh nrf52 dk with no modifications. As I mentioned before, pre-compiled ble_app_uart_s132_pca10040.hex is working fine without any issue. But heart rate example is not working fine.

Let me try with nrfjprog and update you ASAP.

I find it very strange that the pre-compiled examples are not able to run. Is the DK unmodified, have you shorted any solder bridges? What are you using as a supply for the DK? Could you try using nrfjprog and flash the DK with one of the precompiled examples? Remember to also flash the softdevice!

No Jared, the heart rate binary did not work in both the cases. The only working condition is, I need to run the heart rate example code in debug mode from Keil. As soon as I stop the debug mode, the hardware stops executing the code. Even tried power restarting the hardware, no luck. Pleas let me know for further clarification.

ok, so it works with nrfgo, but not when you use Keil?

I used nRFgo Studio for programming the pre-compiled ble_app_hrs_s132_pca10040.hex file from application option. The same way i programmed the ble_app_uart_s132_pca10040.hex and it worked fine.

My Keil target setting are default one, please take a look on attached images.

Hi,

I just tested a couple of the pre-compiled binaries that you've mentioned and it worked successfully here. I'm not sure why it doesn't work on your side. How are you flashing the board with the pre-compiled lib? Are you using nrfjprog? What optimization level are you using when you try to flash the application from Keil?
