But the Mater Control panel app is not available for iOs. Can we use other apps available for iOS to test the dongle. Can we use some other usb 4.0 compatible dongle other than the norf51 dongle for detecting nRF51822 Thanks

So, if I understand you correctly you want to connect to the computer over BLE (instead of USB which is explained in the tutorial), and the ble_app_uart is functioning and you are able to connect to your mobile device.

To connect to your computer you need hardware that supports it and software. If you have the nRF51 Dongle, you can flash this with the master emulator firmware, so it acts as a master, and then you can connect to your device running ble_app_uart using the computer version of Master Control Panel.

Thank you for answer! ^_^ Yes. I can connect my nrf51822 to mobile device by Nordic UART app.

My nrf51822 device is a stand alone machine. The firmware in the nrf51822 is ble_app_uart 38400 with flow control.

But I need the nrf51822 machine can connect to PC to transfer and receive data. (command from PC software). Is it possible?

I also can't connect mobile device by search & pairing?? I don't know how the APP connect to nrf51822?
