Hi Vishnu,

As explained in the documentation, the Background DFU doesn't do DFU image transferring but only does image swapping. The DFU image is received by the application, hence the name "background DFU" the application still operate normally and receive the image in the background.

This is only applied for the IOT example for example this: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v15.3.0/iot_sdk_app_tftp.html?cp=7_5_0_4_2_4_9

But anyway we are depreciating the IOT example, so it's not recommended to go this direction. Unless it's a requirement to do DFU in the background.

uECC missing meant that you haven't compiled the uECC : infocenter.nordicsemi.com/.../lib_crypto_backend_micro_ecc.html
