I suggest you look for a dongle that supports Bluetooth 4.2 or later. Anything less is not recommended. It best to find one with Bluetooth 5. Better yet, buy a new laptop, they all have Bluetooth LE builtin. A laptop without builtin Bluetooth LE is too old already.

The nRF52832 is a BLE device - so anything to communicate with it must also support BLE
